Determination of Graduation Rankings
Graduation Ranking Process
(1) Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs graduation rankings are determined according to the conditions mentioned below, according to the CGPA ranking within department/program.
a- The condition of being within normal study period (8 Academic Terms for an Undergraduate Degree Program /4 Academic Terms for an Associate Degree Program) and meeting graduation criteria should be provided.
b- CGPA for Graduation Ranking should be at least 3.00 over 4.00 (in accordance with the Senate Decision dated 02nd of July, 2021)
c- At least seven terms of the study period of an Undergraduate Degree program should be completed at Yaşar University (in accordance with the Senate Decision dated 02nd of July, 2021)
d- At least 210 ECTS (including Erasmus and students who received their associate degree in Yaşar University) of an Undergraduate Degree program should be obtained at Yaşar University. 120 ECTS of an Associate Degree program should be obtained at Yaşar University (in accordance with the Senate Decision dated 02nd of July, 2021)
e- There should be at least 10 graduates for awarding Department/Program/Faculty/School graduation rankings within the related Academic year (in accordance with the Senate Decision dated 02nd of July, 2021)
f- University rankings are awarded to the first three (3) students with the highest CGPA including Undergraduate and Associate Degree programs.
g- The first three (3) students to be graduated from their Associate/Undergraduate Degree programs are awarded with department/program rankings.
h- While determining department/program rankings, if there are students with the same CGPA, the ranking is made according to the Semester Grade Point Average (GPA) obtained in the last semester.
i- Students to be graduated following Remedial Examinations are not considered for the rankings.
j- Double Major Program Graduation is not considered for the rankings.
Students benefitting from Flexible Grading System are not considered for the rankings.
(2) Postgraduate students are not subject to any kind of ranking evaluation.
