1- Who could apply to Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS) ?
Vocational school graduates and final year students could apply to the examination during the announced dates by Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). Vertical Transfer Examination and placement processes are carried out dates by Student Selection and Placement Center.
2- Which departments could I choose with Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS)?
You could only choose related departments determined by Council of Higher Education (CoHE)
3- How many times could I take Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS)? How many years could I take this examination following graduation?
There is no limit for the number of taking exam.
4- Do I choose departments before or after examination?
You could choose your departments after examination.
5- How many choices could I make?
The limit for number of choices is announced within Vertical Transfer Examination guideline by Student Selection and Placement Center.
6- Do you offer choice discount?
We don’t offer any choice discount
7- Is attendance compulsory?
Attendance is compulsory. In order to attend final examination, the student must participate at least to the 70% of the theoretical course and 80 % of the practical courses.
8- From which class year could I start and lessons be exempted at vertical transfer?
Decision of the class year, course exemption and adjustment is done by the Faculty/Vocational School Academic Committees for the registered students. Therefore, class year and course exemption information could not be given during registration.
9- Do I have chance to attend Yaşar University with a scholarship? Could I take more information about the contingency?

10- Is English Language preparatory class compulsory?
Students placed through Vertical Transfer Examination to English Medium or 30% of English Medium departments are required to attend preparatory class.
